- Western intelligence sends an agent to the Soviet Union in order to identify the defense power of the country. With the help of people hiding from the Soviet justice, the agent tries to fulfill his task. But the Chekists, who took control of the agent's actions, supply him with false data....
反特片，可圈可點的地方還是有的。片頭來了一位真實的蘇聯軍官訴說間諜的危害性，這位軍官還是本片的顧問之一；片子高潮部分以鏡頭的跟蹤象征監視，再與監視室的鏡頭以及畫外音剪輯到一塊也非常有意思，就像《行規》一樣。然而片子還是顯得冗長，尤其是展現國家軍力的部分顯得無關痛癢。
