因为是J.-C.Bouvet先提出想拍这部电影，所以大体上中规中矩，但Vecchiali的主题仍然在一些时刻溢出：开头长镜头的圣诞派对、中间偶然的牢犯淋浴travelling镜头、以及结尾Vecchiali扮演的辩护律师在执刑前两次亲吻Bouvet的后颈…这些片段才是“机器”之外的爱欲死亡。
